Services are held every Saturday at 10.45 am in the chapel at Salinas, a village on the border of Malaga, Cordoba and Granada provinces close to the A92 motorway. The 2nd and 4th Saturday is normally a sung Holy Communion; the other Saturdays are either Holy Communion or Morning Prayer depending on the availability of a priest.
We are a new congregation, which is working hard to grow further now we have weekly services. We welcome to our services residents and visitors to the area, and invite you to join us for coffee (or something stronger) in Manolo's bar in the village after the service.
The congregation has a choir, La Vid y La Vida, which supports services with high quality choral music and occasionally holds fund-raising concerts.
The chapel is situated 500m south of junction 175 on the A-92. Turn right at the end of the sliproad and the chapel is the second building on the left with parking opposite. Coming from the Malaga direction leave the A-92M at junction 1, follow signs for Villanueva de Tapia and after about 2 km turn right at the T-junction with A333. The chapel is 50 m on the left.
Please contact the Chaplain (chaplain@stgeorgemalaga.org) for confirmation and details of these services, or the congregational wardens: Peter Reynolds (95 753 4895) or Andrew Hosking(664 662 817) (or email salinas@stgeorgemalaga.org).
