The Revd. Dr Raymond Taylor 
 
Following the resignation of our previous Chaplain, The Revd. Peter Wolfenden, the Suffragan Bishop  appointed The Reverend Dr Raymond Taylor to be Priest-in-Charge from 1 December 2010, a position he relinquished after his return to the US in May 2011. 
 
Raymond Taylor was our Chaplain from 2004 to 2006 and, togther with his wife Christine, now spends six months of the year (normally December through May) living in his house in Moja, close to Periana, north of Malaga.  He holds a general Permission to Officiate throughout the Church of England. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  The Revd. Sheila Mitchell 
 
 
The Revd. Sheila Mitchell joined the ministerial team in 2008 after she and her husband Bob moved from the UK to live full-time in Mondron near Periana in the house that had previously been their holiday home.  For the previous 7 years she had been vicar of a country parish in the Chester Diocese, and was on the Chester Diocesan Synod.  Sheila was ordained in 1996, having previously run a Christian charity providing drug education to schools in the Wirral.   
 
Sheila holds a Permission to Officiate in the Chaplaincy and is particularly associated with the congregation at Torre del Mar.

       Malcolm Tracey

Malcolm Tracey joined the ministerial team on 1 May 2011 when his licence as Reader was transfered to this diocese from Wakefield.  Whilst he remains a consultant with his former firm, he retired after 37 years in private practice as a solicitor in the UK at the end of March 2010, when he and his wife Sue decided to spend their retirement at their house  in Canillas de Aceituno, which had been their holiday home for the previous five years.           
 
Malcolm had served as a Licensed Reader in the Wakefield Diocese for 33 years, the last 27 of which in the parishes of Emley and, latterly, Emley with Flockton.  He served as Chairman of the Wakefield Diocesan Property Management Committee for the last five years prior to his retirement.  rian
