A congregation of the Chaplaincy of St. George, Malaga
 
 
 
 
The congregation at Competa dates back to a Service of Lessons and Carols at Christmas 1999.  In early 2000 it began to meet once a month and soon services were being held every week. 
Services - of Holy Communion or Evening Prayer - are held in La Iglesia Nuestra Sra. de la Asuncion (Competa's Parish Church) at 5.30 pm on Sundays.  The church, pictured here, is situated in the Plaza Almijara, a short walk up the hill from the main community car park.    
 
Please note: 
The suspension of services at Competa has now been lifted following the arrival of the new Chaplain.  Services planned for January and February 2012 are shown under Services in the Chaplaincy in the coming weeks.
